McDowall Village Medical Practice

McDowall Village Medical Practice is a general practice in the heart of McDowall, caring for families across McDowall, Everton Hills, Aspley, Chermside and surrounding North Brisbane suburbs. The team of nurses and administrative staff are here to make each visit straightforward, from first appointments to ongoing care and family visits. The practice operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Mixed billing applies, with Medicare rebates applied on the day for most consultations. Bulk billing is available for children under 16, concession card holders and DVA Gold Card holders.

The doctors at McDowall Village bring a range of clinical interests, including women's and children's health, chronic disease management, men's health, mental health, cardiovascular health, paediatrics, menopause care and weight management. With eight doctors at the practice, patients can find someone whose training matches their needs and stay with that doctor over time. McDowall Village also hosts skin cancer care with Dr Alireza Afrasiabi, who holds further qualifications with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine, and Dr Lindsey Jones, who holds a Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology. Skin checks, lesion treatment and mole monitoring are available on-site.

McDowall Village Medical Practice operates on a mixed billing basis. Medicare rebates can be applied on the day for most consultations.

Bulk billing is available weekdays for:

The Medicare rebate starts at $42.85 for a standard consultation and $82.90 for a long consultation. Fees and rebates remain at the individual doctor's discretion and in line with Medicare requirements.
